Julius from Buhimba sent this recent message. “On Sunday, we prayed with another young man who rode on his bicycle a distance of 21 miles to see me. He has been listening to New Life Radio. He came to see me and wanted us to talk more about the Word of God. Just a week ago, somebody sent me a message on the phone telling me he had just received Christ after my message. About 2 weeks ago, I received a text message from the Congo - Kasenyi. Interesting enough, this man sent the message in Runyoro language. He was telling me that they listen to these messages and love the Word of God preached.” 11-30-07
The Lord gave Julius and Rose twins. Tusiime Timothy weighed 5.9 pounds and Nsimire Ruth weighed 4.4 pounds. They are all doing fine. 10-31-07 Dear Pastor Stark, Our church in Nebbi is growing numerically. We run between 40 and 50 on Sundays and have many new people coming not only to attend church but also to receive Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. For the last two months we have had a total of 23 people to get saved through the ministry of our local church. Six have already been baptized. Ten are attending discipleship classes in preparation for the same. Most of them come to church on a regular basis. Please pray for them to continue in the same. Pastor Stanley in Nebbi 9-01-07 Alex is the pastor of UBC in Buhimba. This is what he recently wrote: “Pastor, I just want to tell you what the Lord has done in our church today. Eight people received Christ in our service. It is my first time to witness such a thing.” 8-19-07 Julius writes that 61 people have telephoned him and 2 have come to see him in the last 6 weeks in response to his radio program. One lady in particular came to the station wanting to know more about the return of Jesus. 7-16-07 Dear Pastor, Here is another testimony I feel I should share with you and Kathy! One hour ago, I received a call from a man I have never heard from before. He told me that he called just to let me know that he has recently gotten saved through listening to my preaching program on New Life radio which is aired three times a week at 8:00 pm. For the last few weeks in at least 10 sermons, I have been preaching on the blessed return of the Lord Jesus Christ. I've been talking about the rapture, tribulation, and the return of Christ with his saints to set up his kingdom. This has been a blessed moment for me as I have been both preparing and delivering these messages. My heart has been greatly stirred and encouraged. I have also received three different calls from different people reporting that they got saved after listening to these messages. I give God all the praise and Glory because it is He who worketh in us both to will and do his good pleasure. Julius 5-17-07 Dear Pastor Stark 5-10-07 I would like you to know that we have finished very successfully yet another term in our UBBI Alur division. We had five students this time. Pastor Michael taught Bible Doctrine One, and I taught Homiletics and Pastoring. It was indeed a refreshing moment for us as we were teaching these classes! I have been able to also visit our local UBC churches of Alwala and Parombo. They are all doing very well both spiritually and numerically. I baptized four new converts in UBC - Parombo. I will bring them to the conference next month. We had our leadership meeting with all of our UBC Pastors of Nebbi last Saturday. We meet at UBC of Mamba. Right now I am in Kampala with my wife to see her doctor. The report from him is good with steady improvement. Hope to see you soon. Stanley Dear Pastor, 4-21-07 Greetings to you and Kathy! I've written this short message to share with you this testimony of what the Lord has been doing over here on New Life Radio. I have been getting many calls from my preaching program listeners and have been encouraged by them as they have been telling me what the Lord is doing in their lives using this program. Yesterday, I was blessed to receive three calls from three different listeners telling me encouraging messages. The most exciting of all was to hear a man called John tell me that he and his wife plus his two children had just received Christ at the end of my sermon which was broadcast yesterday. One man called asking me to pray for his sister who was sick. Another lady, called Sunny, phoned to tell me that she enjoyed the program very much. She also asked me to pray for her to get a job. You, too, pray for her and continue to pray for New Life Radio. Thank you for all the effort you have put in it. I have sent you this testimony hoping that you, too, will be encouraged the way I'm encouraged. May our God richly bless you. NLR is broadcasting at 1000 watts. 2-16-07 Julius married Rose, and Justus married Jackie. 12-31-06 Julius shared that he will be getting married in the early part of December. A man broadcast he had received Jesus Christ as his Savior. 11-01-06 Jenety is having a good recovery from her cancer. 4-03-06 Dorika is now carrying water and selling it. She gets 11 cents for each container she can carry to and from the well. Each container holds five gallons. She carries one container at a time. She nows sings in the Choir in UBC in Buhimba. 2-05-06 Dennis shared with me that an army medical doctor came to the station with some questions. He had been listening to New Life Radio. Alex sat down with him and answered his questions with the Bible. Before leaving the man received Christ. 10-10-05 Julius reported that he received a call at 9 pm from a very troubled young man. He spent much time sharing the gospel and answering questions. At 10:30 the man received Christ. He had gotten Julius' number while listening to him preach on New Life Radio.
